Tips For Buyer
Tip #1
Start saving for your down payment, inspections and closing costs. Consider saving money for post move-in costs such as furniture, remodeling, landscaping, etc.
Tip #2
Enhance your credit score. You can reach out to creditors to settle disputes. You may also want to consider hiring a Credit Repair Service. I can provide you with a few referrals.
Tip #3
Get pre-approved. Find a good mortgage broker or bank that can analyze your finances and tell you how much house you can afford. If this is your first home purchase, you may be eligible for a first-time buyer program. I can provide you with a few Mortgage Broker referrals.
Tip #4

Once you’ve completed 1-3, it’s time to go house shopping! Remember, choose your neighborhood THEN choose your home. This is important because you’re never just buying the home; you’re buying the neighborhood. You can make many changes to a home but you’re most likely stuck with the neighborhood. The neighborhood can be a very real factor regarding resale value and it can even play a major role in the quality of your life. Make a list of ‘must-haves’, ‘deal-breakers’ and any questions for your real estate agent. Be open, honest and realistic.
